Harbor Counseling Services was founded with one clear mission: to provide the level of care people deserve: not rushed, not surface-level, and not one-size-fits-all. Located in Birmingham, Alabama, Harbor has become a trusted space for individuals, children, couples, and families seeking thoughtful, trauma-informed, and deeply personalized therapy.

We specialize in working with children and teens through Play Therapy and Synergetic Play Therapy, as well as supporting adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, life transitions, relationship conflict, and identity development. We are especially passionate about serving families, first responders, military personnel, and high-responsibility professionals who carry more than most people realize.
