House Plant Collective

House Plant Collective is a retail plant shop in the Avondale neighborhood of Birmingham and Plant Bus that you can see traveling around the state selling house plants and botanical goods. 

The HPC Plant Bus travels around the area selling indoor plants and goods at local art and farmers markets, festivals, and events in partnership with other local businesses. In four years, the bus has participated in over 100 plant bus popup events in partnership with other local businesses, markets, and festivals. 

Growing local communities of house plant hobbyists is a big part of our process.

One of our unique community-building activities is to provide, completely free of charge, space for local makers and artists to sell their goods at our stores on the weekends. We've helped more than 100 artists and creatives generate buzz and make sales to our customers.

Our team of plant experts provide one-on-one guidance on plant tips because our primary goal is to educate our customers to ensure that they have a successful experience owning and caring for their plants. 

We strive to normalize that you are not born with a green thumb but that can easily be taught. And even more importantly, emphasizing the joy of being a plant parent.
