Plane & Level Coastal is an elevated dining experience inspired by the spirit of travel, where each detail—from the vintage aviation design to the globally influenced menu—invites guests on a new culinary journey. Originally envisioned by Brian Culwell, who named and created the concept with a passion for design and exploration, the restaurant continues to honor his legacy under the leadership of his wife, Amelia Culwell. Culinary Director Orlando Amaro, known for his mastery of world cuisines, curates immersive experiences that span continents. Since opening with a Spanish menu, the restaurant has hosted wine dinners that have transported guests to destinations like Italy, France, Morocco, Venezuela, and beyond. As of January 2025, the restaurant’s newest destination is Italy—a transition that has been embraced with overwhelming enthusiasm. Enhancing the experience further, original artwork by an international fine artist is featured throughout the restaurant and even on the menus themselves, adding a visual narrative to the culinary journey.
