You’ll be coached by career professionals who understand what it means to juggle a pressure packed career and family life. We spent years playing that role and learned - the hard way - about events like business travel, meetings and dinners with clients as well as the responsibilities of family. A successful - meaning permanent - lifestyle with workouts, diet and healthy habits will help you integrate your responsibilities into a system that produces excellent results while still allowing you to enjoy life, have great times with family and friends and not worry about ruining the results of your hard work.
We’re not here to shove you into a cookie cutter program because, while it might give you good results, they’ll only last as long as you can keep a death grip on the program itself. You’ve done the work to get there and there’s nothing we hate more than seeing someone reach their goals, leave us and then – a year or two later – and they’re as big as or bigger than when we first met. We know how frustrating it can be to spend year after year and attempt after attempt losing the ten or twenty pounds you somehow keep “finding.” There’s a better way.
It may take a little bit longer but it produces results that are “sticky” which makes them much more permanent because they’re based on incremental changes to your habits and lifestyle. Just like building a career, a business or raising a family, it takes slow, careful work but the reward is a system that produces results automatically and continuously.

We started this journey a long time ago and noticed as we reached our forties and fifties things didn’t seem to work the way they did when we were younger. And that wasn’t working for us. We realized there’s no better way to enjoy a long, happy and successful life than being healthy, liking how you look and feeling great about yourself.
We’re here with you every step of the way because we’ve walked the same path as our clients. Our goal when we started Shifting Years was to give clients the advice we wish we’d received. We started coaching full time because it was something we did after our regular professional jobs and we wanted to help people avoid the things we struggled with during our journey.
Depending on the program, we’ll do phone calls each week; we’ll custom tailor the workout program to your unique life situation and experience and provide education on developing an eating plan that will allow you to enjoy the foods you love while still making progress towards the physique, health and energy you’ve dreamed of having. We’ll track your progress and you’ll receive weekly reviews along with a self-study curriculum designed to help you build the lifestyle that automatically produces results.
We’ll educate you on dealing with off-schedule eating situations, the daily emergencies that occur in this hectic life and how to keep them from throwing you off track. Most importantly, you’ll learn to enjoy vacations, football games on the weekend, special events and the holidays while avoiding the dread that often accompanies those occasions.
Even the inevitable mistakes are celebrated as learning opportunities because everyone makes them and will continue to do so. It’s not the special occasions that get us into trouble, it’s the everyday. There aren’t enough holidays and birthdays to make us overweight or unhealthy. We’ve had to reach way back into the everyday in order to do so. We’ll work together to build a system that keeps you from ending up right back where you started and makes sure you don’t “find” that weight you lost.
