Styles You Can Afford LLC

I was born and raised in Huntsville, AL. I’m the oldest of two lovely sisters raised by my sweet mother. At the age of about four years old, my mother taught me to braid hair and a few fundamentals of hairstyling. I went on to further my skills by attending Virginia College as a cosmetologist where I was licensed through State Board. I went on to work as a stylist at Beyond Beauty for five years. After a few years and a couple of children into my marriage, I felt I haven’t grown financially or as an authority in the hair industry so I went corporate for a few years. I still did hair on the side until a spark urged me to want to excel in my skills once again. I obtained more licenses such as microblading, micro shading, lash lifting. I continue to build my clientele and formed an official business as Styles You Can Afford LLC. As a licensed cosmetologist, I do most of my work with a skill that doesn’t require a license. A skill my mother taught me at the tender age of four years old, braiding. I now offer braiding courses available to the public, teaching a skill that helped me thrive financially and network and meet some of the most amazing walks of life. My business offers over 100 styles and services to the public. As I continue this journey as a cosmetologist, who knows where this path will lead me next. So I’m staying on this path to find out. I’m excited for the future.
