Margaret McDonald, EdS, LPC, is the founder of Making A Renewed Self (MARS Counseling Services), a private practice serving children, teens, and adults across Alabama. With extensive training in play therapy and evidence-based counseling approaches, Margaret specializes in supporting children with emotional regulation challenges, anxiety, behavioral concerns, and family transitions, while also working with adolescents and adults navigating stress, burnout, and major life changes. In addition to her clinical work, she provides speaking engagements and hosts workshops focused on self-care, burnout prevention, and emotional resilience, equipping individuals and professionals with practical tools for lasting wellness.
