Alexander's Martial Arts

Alexander’s Martial Arts opened in 1993 and has served the Huntsville and Madison community for over 30 years! Our stated mission is to “Make a positive difference in the community…. One Black Belt at a time.” We do this by teaching high-quality martial arts, by providing the best personal development training in the area, and by preparing our students to succeed in every area of life!

We teach our students there are three primary areas of self-defense:

1. Common Sense Self-Defense – making good decisions (think wearing a seat belt)

2. Verbal Self-Defense – using your words to diffuse a situation or call for assistance.

3. Physical Self-Defense – the actual “karate and jujitsu moves” to get you out of a bad physical situation.

We’ve made MAJOR upgrades to the Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) at our Academy. We now deliver 1900 cfm of filtered and conditioned outside air AND a clean air delivery rate (CADR) of over 7000 cfm via filtration. We’ve invested about $100k  to exceed the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) “Standard 241, Control of Infectious Aerosols” to keep your family safe!

We also provide:

• In-person (all-masked or mask-optional schedule) & Online classes for ages 4 & up!
• Online University with library of skills and live classes.
• Zoom stream so parents can watch class from anywhere.

We still teach the same AWESOME MARTIAL ARTS, we still support the same PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT, and we still prepare our students to SUCCEED IN LIFE!
