Nasser Gymnastics Academy, Inc.

Nasser Gymnastics Academy, established in 1970, offers a safe and developmental environment for aspiring gymnasts. With programs ranging from beginner to competitive levels, they focus on proper technique, strength, and progression. Their family-owned facility provides a fun and positive athletic experience, inspiring dreams and motivating champions.

Our Founder, Nasser Parvinrouh was born in Shiraz, Iran. He was an Olympic gymnast and competed for Iran in the 1964 Olympics in Japan. At one time, Mr. Nasser was ranked 16th in the world!

Nasser Gymnastics Academy (NGA) was established in August 1970, making it the oldest gym in Alabama. NGA was founded with the vision to provide a safe, developmental, and rewarding environment for aspiring gymnasts and youth athletes utilizing progressive training techniques for safety & efficacy.

The gym is and always has been family owned and operated. Mr. Nasser retired from running the gym in 2015, and his youngest, Michelle, now runs the gym.

Mission: Teach students to become healthy, happy, goal-oriented athletes. It is our top priority to provide children with a positive athletic experience in a fun, safe environment.
