The ACT

The Actor’s Charitable Theatre (ACT), based in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, is a volunteer-driven nonprofit organization dedicated to providing quality theatrical experiences for children, youth, and adults in West Alabama. Founded in 2008,ACT produces three to five mainstage shows annually, offers summer camps, and participates in both youth and adult theatre festivals. A unique aspect of ACT is its commitment to philanthropy; a portion of each show’s ticket profits is donated to local charities in the Tuscaloosa community
