Sweetwater Counseling and Consulting, LLC

Sweetwater Counseling and Consulting is a private counseling practice specializing in counseling for ages 3-18, but we also accept adult clients.

Sweetwater was started out of a love for children and a desire to provide mental, emotional, and behavioral tools to help them thrive despite the challenges that life brings. All of our counselors are child and teen focused with specific skills and knowledge of the developmental, emotional, social, and mental needs of children. 

At Sweetwater Counseling, you will find that the counselors combine creative and play-based techniques with various theoretical approaches such to connect to children and teens using their language and their methods.  It’s not uncommon for a child to leave session after having played a game, used art supplies, or read a book. Sometimes, we even get messy. But, the children also gain skills, learn about themselves, and have a safe place to work through the challenges of life.
