Goo Goo, Here They Come!

Goo Goo, Here They Come!

Some songs never leave the playlist, and on Tuesday, August 18, the Goo Goo Dolls Summer 2026 Tour brings plenty of them to The Orion Amphitheater in Huntsville, with Neon Trees kicking off an evening built for singing along under the Alabama sky.

Cue the Singalong

For plenty of fans, this isn't a concert where you hope to recognize a few songs. It's a concert where you suddenly realize you know every chorus. The Goo Goo Dolls have spent nearly four decades turning tracks like "Iris," "Slide," "Name," and "Black Balloon" into road trip staples, while Neon Trees adds another round of crowd favorites with hits including "Animal" and "Everybody Talks." Expect the audience to do just as much singing as the bands.

The evening begins with gates at Apollo South opening at 5 p.m., venue doors at 6 p.m., and the show starting at 7:30 p.m. That leaves plenty of time to grab a drink, find your seat, and enjoy the atmosphere before the lights go down and the first guitar chords ring across the amphitheater.

A Venue Worth the Encore

The Orion Amphitheater has quickly become one of Alabama's standout live music destinations, pairing an intimate open-air design with the kind of lineup usually reserved for much larger markets. National tours regularly make Huntsville a stop, giving music fans throughout North Alabama more opportunities to catch major artists without leaving the state.

The Goo Goo Dolls' stop continues another busy summer at The Orion, where a packed concert calendar has helped cement the venue's reputation as one of the Southeast's premier outdoor stages. Whether you've followed the band since the '90s or simply can't resist belting out "Iris" with a few thousand fellow fans, this is the kind of summer concert that's made for turning up the volume.

Tickets are available now, so if this show is on your radar, it's worth claiming your spot before the lights go down on August 18!
