Steeped in Southern Charm!

Steeped in Southern Charm!

If you’ve ever heard sweet tea called “the house wine of the South,” then you already understand the soul of the 2025 Alabama Sweet Tea Festival. Now in its 3rd year, the 2025 celebration takes place on August 16 in the heart of Enterprise.  Even better? Admission is free—roll in, wander the vendor field, and soak the scene without spending a dime until you’re ready to sip. Held each August in the heart of Enterprise, this annual ode to Alabama’s beloved brew isn’t just about cooling off (though you absolutely should). It’s a celebration of community, craft, and just the right amount of sugar. The party lands at the Enterprise Civic Center Festival Field off Neil Metcalf Road—easy parking, wide lawns, and enough shade to park a stroller and stay awhile.

Still a young tradition—the festival has already earned die‑hard regulars. Enterprise turns out with church-table pitchers, restaurant riffs, backyard experiments, and heirloom family recipes that range from classic syrupy-sweet to fruit‑bright, herbal, floral, and the occasional wildcard that makes you do a double take. Bragging rights are on the line, judges are circling, and the friendly “my way’s the right way” debate fuels half the fun. Which brings us to the good stuff:

Festival Highlights

Sweet Tea Tasting Tent: Dozens of pours; tasting passes sold on‑site while supplies last.

People’s Choice & Homebrew Contest: Vote, judge, or throw your own recipe in the ring.

Sweet Tea Chugging Challenge: Fastest mason jar wins bragging rights (hydration strongly encouraged).

Tea ParTEAs & Games: Themed setups, kid activities, and photo‑ready décor for your group shot.

Live Music & Local Flavor: Southern sounds, handmade goods, and food trucks slinging fair bites, fried favorites, and cool treats between tastings.

Enterprise doesn’t do halfway hospitality. Expect lawn‑chair clusters under shade tents, civic clubs fundraising beside boutique makers, kids darting between game stations, and recipe swaps that bounce from “how much sugar?” to “what’s your water source?” in one breath. Whether you spike yours with lemon, mint, or a little extra attitude, come thirsty and leave happy—with a new favorite gallon recipe and at least one mason jar you didn’t plan to buy.
