Two Days in the Middle of Fayette

The Alabama Frog Level Festival returns bringing one of Fayette’s most recognizable fall traditions back to the heart of downtown.

For two days, the festival fills the area with live musical entertainment, arts and crafts vendors, food, antique and vintage vehicles and the kind of frog-themed fun that gives the event its name. The mix works because there is always something happening a few steps away, whether that means catching a performance, browsing handmade goods or circling back toward the food vendors for a second opinion.

Shoppers can work their way through arts and crafts booths for handmade finds and, for anyone willing to admit October is basically the opening bell for holiday shopping, a possible head start on Christmas gifts.

Cars, Crafts and a Few Frogs

The car show is one of the weekend’s bigger draws, with hot rods, antiques, Corvettes and other classic vehicles joining the festival lineup.
